It is with great sadness that I share the passing of my dear friend, Nancy Binz
Nancy was truly a great lady, and her presence brought light into the lives of those around her. I had the privilege of being introduced to her by Mrs. Jihan Sadat, and from that moment on, Nancy became a cherished friend.
She often told me that the best three friends in her life were Jihan Sadat, Benazir Bhutto, and myself. I have always treasured those words and the deep bond we shared. I had the opportunity to visit her in London one year ago—a visit that felt profoundly meaningful, as if it might be our last time together.
Nancy will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and profound generosity. She touched my life and the lives of many, and I feel grateful for the moments and memories we shared.

كانت نانسي تقول لي دائمًا إنّ أعزّ ثلاثة أصدقاء في حياتها هم جيهان السادات وبينظير بوتو وأنا. وقد ظلّت تلك الكلمات عزيزة على نفسي، تعبّر عن عمق الصداقة التي جمعتنا. حظيت بفرصة زيارتها في لندن قبل عام، وكانت زيارة ذات معنى خاص بالنسبة لي، وكأنّها كانت آخر لقاء بيننا
ستظل نانسي حاضرة في ذاكرتنا بما عُرفت به من دفءٍ ولطفٍ وكرمٍ عميق. لقد أثّرت في حياتي وحياة الكثيرين، وسأبقى ممتنًا للذكريات واللحظات الجميلة التي جمعتنا
