Inauguration of “Treasures of the Pharaohs” Exhibition in Italy, Rome
Today, October 23rd, 2025, the much-anticipated exhibition “Treasures of the Pharaohs” will be inaugurated at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome, Italy, in the presence of the President of Italy and Egypt’s Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Mr. Sherif Fathy.
This historic event marks a new cultural bridge between Egypt and Italy, showcasing 130 extraordinary artifacts from Egypt’s greatest museums — many leaving the country for the very first time.
From the Triad of Menkaure to the treasures of Queen Ahhotep II and the discoveries from the Golden City of Luxor, the exhibition unveils the artistry, power, and spirit of a civilization that continues to inspire the world.
I am also thrilled to share that my catalog, “Treasures of the Pharaohs,” will accompany the exhibition. This publication will delve into the fascinating stories behind the artifacts, offering visitors a deeper understanding of their cultural significance.
اليوم ٢٣ أكتوبر ٢٠٢٥، سيتم الافتتاح الرسمي للمعرض المنتظر «كنوز الفراعنة» في قصر الكويريناله في روما، إيطاليا، بحضور رئيس جمهورية إيطاليا ووزير السياحة والآثار المصري السيد شريف فتحي
يمثل هذا الحدث التاريخي جسرًا ثقافيًا جديدًا بين مصر وإيطاليا، حيث يضم ١٣٠ قطعة أثرية استثنائية من أعظم متاحف مصر — كثيرٌ منها يغادر البلاد للمرة الأولى
من ثالوث الملك منكاورع إلى كنوز الملكة أحمس نفرتاري الثانية واكتشافات المدينة الذهبية بالأقصر، يكشف المعرض عن فن وإبداع وقوة حضارة لا تزال تُلهم العالم حتى اليوم
كما يسرّني أن أعلن أن كتابي المصاحب للمعرض «كنوز الفراعنة» سيصدر بالتزامن مع الافتتاح، وهو عمل يسلّط الضوء على القصص المدهشة وراء القطع الأثرية، مقدمًا للزوار فهمًا أعمق لقيمتها الثقافية والتاريخية
